Biography
Kameel Olatunji Olaleye, popularly known as "Mascot," is a young, articulate, and vibrant leader from Ibadan North. Guided by a philosophy of grassroots development and youth emancipation, he has spent years working directly with communities — training young people, supporting entrepreneurs, and advocating for practical, people-centered governance. He believes that when youthful hands are economically trained and gainfully engaged, the prosperity of society is restored.

Educational Background
Kameel holds a BSc in Political Science from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye (2007), an HND in Public Administration from The Polytechnic Ibadan, and an ND in Local Government Studies, also from The Polytechnic Ibadan. He is also an alumnus of several international leadership and entrepreneurship programs, including Bocconi University's Adansonia Entrepreneurship Course (Milan, Italy), the African Management Initiative (Kenya), and the Nelson Mandela Youth Leadership Engagement Workshop hosted by the US Embassy in Lagos.

Career and Leadership Experience
Kameel's leadership journey began early — serving as Class Representative for ND Local Government Studies, Vice President of NAPADS, and later General Secretary of the Students Forum and Chairman on Security and Conflict Resolution for the Student Union Government at The Polytechnic Ibadan. Since then, he has built a career as an entrepreneur, researcher, and public educator with wide-ranging experience in public affairs, strategic management, and community organizing.

Community Service
Kameel has consistently invested in grassroots development. He provided free ICT/computer training to over 1,000 indigent students, delivered free vocational and marketing services, and offered agro-allied entrepreneurial training to farmers and young people. His community projects include the construction and donation of a dispensary block for the Mwanatari Community and the installation of transformers for the Apete Community.

Awards and Recognitions
His contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Adamawa State Honours "Best Corps" Award (NYSC, 2005), the Certificate of Merit from the Mwanatari Community, the Outstanding Leadership Award from the Directorate of Students Affairs at The Polytechnic Ibadan, and the Peace Maker Award from the Student Union Government for his work against youth violence and conflict.

Today, Kameel "Mascot" Olaleye brings this record of service, education, and leadership to his campaign for the House of Representatives — committed to restoring hope, revitalizing dreams, and re-branding opportunity for Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
